At SalesRecruitmentAgency.com Limited we like to keep things simple and easy for all our Stakeholders, which include CANDIDATES and JOB POSTERS. However, while we like to keep things simple, this doesn’t mean that we aren’t serious about the confidentiality of the data we collect and store.
This statement explains what information we collect and store, why we collect it and how it’s used. We take our responsibilities under the 1998 Data Protection Act very seriously, and have worked very hard to ensure that our site complies with the Act.
Registration Details
When you register with us, we collect your contact and other details and these are stored on our database and used to keep in contact with you to supply you with various products, services and information you may request from time to time. We may also use this information to keep you informed of new products and services as we introduce them. Subject to the section on disclosure below we will not sell or pass this information on to anyone else.
Profile and CV Information
When you enter your profile information and upload your CV, it is stored in our database. Once your details are in our database, they can then be searched, viewed over the Internet and downloaded by any Job Poster registered with us.
Job Posters include employment agencies, employment consultants, direct companies recruiting or any other person or organisation that registers with us as a Job Poster.
Unfortunately, it is impractical for us to verify the identity or nature of Job Posters, therefore it’s important for you to realise that your current employer may be a Job Poster registered with us. However, because of this, we have included a feature on our website that gives you the option of making your personal details and CV anonymous, and to be identified only by a unique ID reference number.
We cannot be held responsible for any problems you may experience as a result of your details being displayed on our website.
Please note that we reserve the right to remove any CVs or other information that we consider to be misleading, illegal or offensive from our database.
Statistical Information
As part of our stated objective to be THE NUMBER ONE PLACE FOR SALES JOBS ON THE WORLDWIDE WEB, we will provide statistical information about site visitors and users to our Job Posters. We will provide this information to Job Posters, advertisers, suppliers and others at our discretion. This information does not include anything which can identify individuals.
Where we Store Your Personal Data
The data that we collect from you may be transferred to, and stored at, a destination outside the European Economic Area ("EEA"). It may also be processed by staff operating outside the EEA who work for us or for one of our suppliers. Such staff maybe engaged in, among other things, the fulfilment of your order, the processing of your payment details and the provision of support services. By submitting your personal data, you agree to this transfer, storing or processing. We will take all steps reasonably necessary to ensure that your data is treated securely and in accordance with this privacy policy.
All information you provide to us is stored on our secure servers. Any payment transactions will be encrypted using SSL technology. Where we have given you (or where you have chosen) a password which enables you to access certain parts of our site, you are responsible for keeping this password confidential. We ask you not to share a password with anyone.
Unfortunately, the transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure. Although we will do our best to protect your personal data, we cannot guarantee the security of your data transmitted to our site; any transmission is at your own risk. You have the right to ask us not to process your personal data for marketing purposes. The Act gives you the right to access information held about you. Your right of access can be exercised in accordance with the Act. Any access request may be subject to a fee of £10 to meet our costs in providing you with details of the information we hold about you.

Any changes we may make to our privacy policy in the future will be posted on this page and, where appropriate, notified to you by e-mail.
